Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) to ensure all export-related documentation, especially the Certificate of Origin (CO), meets regulatory requirements
- and is processed on time.
- Lead and manage the team responsible for CO processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to relevant ministries and stakeholders.
- Oversee trucking operations and monitor supplier performance, including:
- Tracking container volumes per truck, trips completed per day, and loading/unloading turnaround time.
- Evaluating supplier efficiency and addressing service gaps or operational issues.
- Coordinating with trucking partners to ensure schedules are met and service quality is maintained.
- Liaise with customs officials, logistics providers, and internal departments to coordinate daily operations and resolve issues quickly.
- Analyze logistics and trucking data to support operational planning and continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear, organized documentation and records for all CO and transportation activities.
- Recommend and implement improvements in workflows, communication, and supplier engagement to support better outcomes.
- Ensure consistency in operational procedures and quality control, maintaining high performance standards.
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 years of proven experience working with government ministries—especially the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) —and customs officials, ideally within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team in operational roles, particularly in document handling and logistics control.
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Skilled in data tracking, reporting, and operational analysis.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under pressure.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Fluency in Chinese and English is required (spoken and written).
